3 tablespoons white distilled or apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons baking soda

4 Cups filtered water
3 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon peel concentrate (recipe to follow)
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 drops grapefruit seed extract (available at most natural food markets)
Mix it all together until the baking soda has been completely dissolved.

To make Lemon Peel Concentrate use:
4 organic lemons
1 cup vodka
Scrub the lemons with water and peel away the zest. Chop the zest, avoiding the pith, until it is fine and then place it all in a freshly washed jar with a lid and cover it with the vodka. Cap the jar tightly and let it stand 2 weeks. Strain before using.
Will last about 1 year if stored in a cool dark place.
Use 2 tablespoons per quart of filtered water.
OXYGEN WASH FOR PRODUCE:
3 cups filtered water
1 cup 3% hydrogen peroxide
Mix it together and use it as described above.
Tips and Tricks:
- If you wash your food in a colander contained inside a large pot or bowl, you can simply lift it out and rinse/drain the food after washing.
- Using the colander will allow multiple uses of the washing mixture.
